The Very Near Future of White Box:FMAG

Hi folks,
As some of you know I'm relaunching White Box:FMAG with a new name, new cover art and new layout. It will also include the most recent errata and typo fixes

The current first printing will be available for 2 more weeks until 2/22. So get them now while you can or wait for the new printing which should be available in March.

It was never my plan to do this big of a change so soon but after recent circumstances it is the best thing to do for the game in the long run.

Last month I dropped the books to cost and then within the week, circumstances around the game changed due to things outside my control.

With the name change, I decided now was the best time to really improve on the presentation of the game. So I spent the money to make the best version I could without commissioning new interior art.

Now the bad news. The new printing will raise the price back up along the same lines as the original prices. But hey, the good news is it will still be cheaper than pretty much everything else out there!

But this time RPGnow will have the premium hardcover on their best paper. Lulu will have a hardcover with a dust jacket and Amazon will continue to have the cheapest paperback option. So a bigger variety of book options.

I'm really excited about where the game is going and the flame of fantasy White Box will continue to burn bright.

Thanks for coming along for the ride.

A very grateful tiny publisher,

White Box Now Sold at Cost!!

I didn't make White Box: Fantastic Medieval Adventure Game to make money.

I recently broke even and then made a tiny sum of money over the last month to pay myself for the time it took to put it all together.

So now I'm taking the lead of Rafael Chandler. All the White Box:FMAG books will now be sold at cost!

Get yours now for dirt cheap and spread the word!

Over 500 books Sold!

In the last couple days White Box: FMAG hit the 500 books sold mark! That's pretty sweet considering it's been available for only 6 months.

I hope many of the folks who bought it have found it to be a great and easy-to-learn game and are playing the hell out of it!

What's Coming in 2017

Hi Folks,
2017 is almost here so I thought I would let you know what is in store for White Box in the coming year.

An update of the 2009 S&W Quickstart by Michael Shorten. There has been a lot of discussion on how to bring new players into the game and this treasure chest product isn't mentioned much anymore. That needs to change. It is by far the best introduction to old school games I have seen. A few of us on the Smoldering Wizard forums are working on this, so stop on by if you would like to have some input.

Into the Unknown. A hexagon-exploration-adventure guide to an unknown realm.  Faeries and goblins and Froud! This is the Froud Project that I have mentioned. All artwork will be by Michael Clarke!

White Box: Fantastic Medieval Adventure Game in color!  Not just B&W pictures with color accents. This is a FULL color version of the rules!

The Wizard's Scroll - Issue 2. The Swords & Wizardry fanzine. I'm taking submissions now. This one will be released when there is enough content to fill the issue.

The order of release isn't set in stone. And since I'm such a tiny publisher, plans could change. But those 4 projects are the goal. I hope you will enjoy them all.

Cheers to an exciting 2017!
